Story
The classic French absinthe ritual: sugar on a slotted spoon, a slow drip of water — the origin of the drink's 'fairy' nickname.
Method
- 1Pour the absinthe into the glass.
- 2Rest the sugar cube on a slotted spoon over the glass.
- 3Slowly drip water onto the sugar until it dissolves.
- 4The drink turns cloudy — that's normal, it's the anise oils.
