Credited to bartender Harry MacElhone in London in 1919; he later refined the recipe at Harry's Bar in Paris.
Method
- 1Dry-shake for foam.
- 2Add ice and shake again for 12 seconds.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe.
- 4Serve without garnish.
