Story
Created by Don the Beachcomber in 1934; his bars served no more than two per guest — a rule bartenders still joke about.
Method
- 1Add everything except the dark rum to an iced shaker.
- 2Shake for 12 seconds and strain into a highball over fresh ice.
- 3Float the dark rum on top.
- 4Garnish with mint and a lime wedge.
