5 cocktails anyone can make
You don't need to be a bartender to make a cocktail at home that's as good as one at a bar. The key is the right base: a quality syrup or liqueur, ice, and a bit of citrus. Here are five recipes that forgive mistakes and always turn out well.
Syrup mojito: lime, mint, 30 ml of BrandBar «Mint-Lime» syrup, soda and plenty of ice — muddle the mint, top up, stir. Sour: 45 ml of any fruit syrup, lemon juice, egg white (optional) and ice — shake for 15 seconds.
Highball: 40 ml of BrandBar liqueur, tonic or soda 1:3, a citrus slice — all in a tall glass with ice, no shaker needed. Spritz: syrup or liqueur, prosecco and soda at a 1:2:1 ratio, plenty of ice, garnished with mint or berries.
Mule: 40 ml of a spirit, 20 ml of lime syrup, ginger ale to top, ice, a lime wedge. All proportions can be adjusted to taste — just keep the sweet-sour-strong balance.
Tip: chill the glass ahead of time, don't skimp on ice, and always taste before serving. Ready-made sets for these and dozens of other cocktails are in the BrandBar catalog.
